Social media will infiltrate every single area of our lives as we continue to progress into the future. Personally I think that our identity or worth will start to depend on our social media profiles. All of the information about a person will be accessible and there will be no info that you can keep for anyone. As we have talked about in the class, social media will start to make its way into the classrooms of so many kids around the country. It will become a good way for children to learn in all types of ways that will help not only themselves but the teachers around them. With youth asking for more intentional curriculum I think that social media will have a huge impact on the ways that curriculum changes on a nation wide level. The challenge is trying to give people an equal opportunity. So having the right supplies and technology will be very essential to social media.

I think the difference between digital literacy and digital citizenship was something that I felt was super important. Understanding what it means to be digitally literate, vs being an active citizen digitally showed me that social media can be very useful if you understand how, what and when to use it. I understand that each app serves a deeper purpose, and most of them may be connected in some type of way. Going forward I plan to be very intentional with the way I use each of my personal pages. Understand who I follow, what to post, and other key components of each app will allow me to reach a lot of people. It will also help me network properly within the fields that I reside in.
